When I started looking up information on this epitaph, I discovered this website, Last Words. There was an entire page of “last words,” by which they meant epitaphs.

This stone is really clear. But for some reason, I cannot read the first name.
Amazing how some stones stay in such incredible condition, as though they were just done…
I love the curly script. It’s amazing to think that somebody carved that in by hand. Sometimes I wonder as much about the stonemason as I do about the person in the grave.
