Glossinger

Sometimes I am walking through a cemetery and see a tombstone with someone I wish I could meet. You know how you get those surveys that ask “if you could have dinner with any 10 people, living or dead, who would you invite?” These are people who I’d be tempted to include. And John Glossinger is one of those people. He died just shy of 100 years old. In those 99 years, he would have seen so many changes in our society – not just the obvious technological innovation, but changes in cultural norms and taboos. And his epitaph is so very cheerful – “Seek the good in people and they will find it in you.”
