The thing that first pulled me into the cemetery with a camera was the history. History is, at its core, a collection of stories – about who we are and how we live. Some other Graveyard Rabbits have found some interesting stories I wanted to share with you.
Cemetery Explorers brings us the story of Marie Holmes, “Lady of the Night.”
The Graveyard Rabbit of Sandusky Bay found a zinker for a wine dealer. I found it interesting that the family had a marble works but has a zinker for a monument.
Escape to the Silent Cities shares the story of Captain James E. Reynolds, recreated in the statue that marks his and his wife’s grave.
