I have found a number of unusual examples of graveyard art, and I am not alone.
The Graveyard Rabbit of Utrecht and Het Gooi posted this. I’m not sure what the top of the monument is made of (plastic vs. glass), but it’s certainly not something you see every day. He’s also posted photos of some unique glass markers.
I’ve encountered some metal sculptures in graveyards by now, but they still are by no means common. Stone Garden Explorer found this unusual pair.
Holisticrocs has a post at Sleeping Gardens including a stone with a maze on the back of it.
Here is a post about the grave marker for Peter Giele, a giant skull that originally allowed visitors to lie inside before the cemetery insisted it be locked.
