This stone is so beautiful I had to share it with you. I am not certain what the material is inside the Star of David, but it is stunningly bright blue in the sun. It appears to be some sort of stone.
These postings from Lake View have been unusual for me lately. I have generally avoided photographing monuments for the more recently departed, out of respect for grieving family and friends. So I have previously limited myself to the very unique or intriguing when taking photographs. But in this section of Lake View, every monument is an absolute work of art. I’ve decided that I will continue to post these sorts of things, and if the families contact me with any objection, I will be happy to either remove identifying information from the stone or delete the photograph from public view.
