I noticed these markers last year at Lake View Cemetery. Two are clearly for the same individual, and the third one seems likely to be for her as well, based on the uniqueness of her name on the monument. Ann, or Annie, who died at the young age of 17, gets a space on the family monument,
and her own individual marker.
I don’t have definite proof that this marker is for Ann Jane Narvvelit, but she seems to be a strong candidate.
But who was she? I have not been able to find out anything about her. She doesn’t, at this time, appear in the Cleveland Public Library’s Necrology file. What tragedy took her from her family, that they felt compelled to record the length of her life to the day on at least two and likely three monuments?
